Day Reporting Program
The Day Reporting Program is a GED Preparation program designed to assist eligible students to successfully complete the General Educational Development (GED) program. It is provided by the Kennewick School District for older youth (17, 18 or 19 years old) whose history is indicative of an inability to return successfully to a regular or alternative school program. Students will have the knowledge and skills necessary to reduce or eliminate their need for remedial or developmental classes when they continue their pursuit of education and employment, aiding their transition into continuing education programs such Columbia Basin College, the military, trade schools/apprentice programs and WorkSource.
Classes are held in the visitation area of the Benton Franklin Juvenile Justice Detention Center, 5606 W. Canal Drive.
